Some submissions may contain material that contravenes copyright or contain offensive material. We welcome you to contact us to request the submission be removed.
Do I need to consider Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP)?
Copyright legislation and policy can be inadequate for protection of ICIP as it can be collectively owned and rights of use and reproduction can outlast traditional terms defined in copyright legislation. Indigenous works may include sensitive information, or information obtained without the consent of the relevant Indigenous people.
Users should consider ICIP rights in decisions around sharing digital material. You may need to seek cultural clearances from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, families, individuals or organisations before you upload some Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander material.
If you identify material that should not be shared on this platform, please contact us to discuss your concerns.
